I know that dehydration is BAD. But i'm getting so many good effects that I can't really agree with that...
I was just thinking- you know the fact about how self-starvation kills your metabolism? How about intensively exercising WHILE starving? I mean, your body has no choice but to burn calories, right? I can't possibly "conserve" calories then..
I have to admit something, whenever I eat about 600 or more calories per sitting I have this incredible urge to down a handful of laxatives. However, i've resisted for a long time.

ReplyDeleteI often wonder the same thing about whether exercising would counteract the damage that restricting does to your metabolism. Obviously there's things like coffee / green tea that are supposed to speed up your metabolism too, but I don't feel like that would be enough...
ReplyDeleteIn any case, good job on getting smaller! Maybe you could reintroduce liquids really gradually so you don't get completely dehydrated but also don't expand your stomach..?
